The ABC crew have joined forces with the lads from Shabooka Shake to bring you the sounds of one of Australia’s fastest rising stars – Bass Kleph. Hailed by the Stanton Warriors, Drumattic Twins and Kid Kenobi as one of the best things Australia has to offer, Bass Kleph’s reputation continues to grow, both as a producer and DJ, in leaps and bounds. His remix for UK breaks mega label Fingerlickin’ saw him awarded “Best Breaks Remix of the Year 2005” at the international Breakspoll awards, whilst his track ‘Fucking the Groove’ can be found on your local TV channel as the backing for the new Toyota Hilux advertisement. His DJ sets are absolutely wild; jam packed with rib tingling bass lines, dirty electro synths and arse shaking booties in a crazy display of technical perfection. Support comes from the usual ABC misfits plus Tokyo Electric head honcho – Luke Lombe. Doors open at 10, $5 for members and $10 for general public, at Electric Circus, Crippen Place (off Hindley St).
Set times for the show are as follows
10-11 Noodle vs Activist
11-12 Spark
12-1 Luke Lombe
1-2 Anzac
2-4 BASS KLEPH
4-5 Lachy Pender
