Earthcore HQ have just released the news that Skazi will no longer be performing at this year’s festival.

Their press release says “Skazi have lost themselves in a Brazilian rainforest and won’t be able to find their way out to headline the Earthcore’s Annual Global Carnival, November 24 – 26, 2006 at Undera.”

To make up for Skazi’s misfortune, Earthcore have booked a double psy trance header with GMS a.k.a. Growing Mad Scientists and Chicago. Both will head down under to join the bill and team up with Raja Ram on their 1200 Mics live project.

Installation artists wanted

Earthcore is looking for budding installations artists, street performers and other keen bodies to weave their magic at the festival. Send proposals to Earthcore Office ASAP, PO Box 362, Balaclava, Victoria, Australia, 3183.

Bummer to hear, but hey? Who really cares too much? Earthcore is one of those events, nay phenomenom's, that can't be dampened by the abscence of one artist(group). If $'s and brain matter are aplenty, I will be going to both! EARTHCORE RULES! WOO-HOO!
