With fond memories of July’s Winter Enchanted starting to fade, the first acts for the event’s bigger, wilder Summer brother have just been announced. D’n’B heads will be rapt to hear that Metalheadz founding father and genre legend Goldie will be returning to our town with MC Lowqui… Goldie’s first gig here since his daytime slot at the Semaphore Beach party in 2004. One of the true pioneers of jungle and d’n’b, Goldie always comes armed with plenty of surprises and will be an exciting drawcard for this year’s event.

For those into the sounds of trance, DJ Scott Project should be a familiar name. He’s flying in from Germany for his Enchanted date, and bring with him a similar reputation for quality and status. DJing since 1986, he knows his way round the turntables, and keeps his sets deep and dirty. For those who like bangin’ party techno, last year’s Enchanted guest Ignition Technician returns fresh out of some recent track collaborations in the UK with Adelaide’s own DJ Devious.

With these hot acts already named, earlybird tickets have gone on sale for $48 at the usual vendors. Mark December 9th down on your calendars people… this year’s party with be massive as ever, and word is that the venue is only a ten-minute cab ride from the city.
