Parklife Essential Information

Parklife rounds out the long weekend this Monday, October 2nd, spread over the entire space between The Deen and The Shed, including a stage on Abderdeen Street between the two venues. Word is in that the event has SOLD OUT – no more tickets either presale OR at the door. For those with tickets in hand see below for set times over the four stages as well as essential information of dos, don’ts and recommendations to ensure you have the best day possible. Don’t forget ITM VIP’s that there’s no need to queue for the loos this year – make sure you check out the ITM VIP toilet for it’s Perth debut. Read on….

Aberdeen St will be closed to traffic between William & Lake Streets from 12am on Monday – the entertainment area will be securely fenced and visually screened. Police and security will employ a ‘zero tolerance’ policy to street drinking and loitering outside the venue, so if you want the Parklife experience, you’ll need a ticket!

Entry on the day is via the north eastern corner as per map below.

VITAL INFO

• Fun begins at 1.00pm.


• Parklife will go on RAIN, HAIL or SHINE so be prepared whatever the weather.


• The Deen and The Shed are licensed venues and no beverages will be permitted upon entry.


• Bags will be respectfully inspected.


• 18+ only, so make sure you bring photo ID.


• Pass Outs permitted but will be heavily controlled. (No phaffing about!)


• Food will be available on site at The Shed.


• There will be a cloakroom and merchandise sales


• First Aid and Drug Aware stations will be set up. Make yourself aware of their location.


• NO GLASSWARE WILL BE PERMITTED in the outside arena.


• Additional toilets are situated behind the bleacher seating.


• ZONE 5 upstairs is the designated ‘Chill out Zone’ and will be made especially comfy for Parklife.


• Inthemix.com VIP members toilets will be available for the first time in Perth


• Most importantly: show respect for yourselves and those around you, but in particular neighbouring properties. These people were kind enough to allow this event to happen so don’t ruin it for next year!
