Brisbane trio My Ninja Lover have raised above hundreds of other entries in the Q Song Awards with their track Tin Cat (from their debut EP Silk and Daggers), to win the Electronic/Dance Song of the Year in the 2006. Already working hard on their follow up release, the group are overwhelmed by the news of their win and can’t thank their fans enough. The news has also come as a great send off for their producer and bass guitarist Chris Buckeridge who is relocating to Amsterdam.

This is not the first time that MNL have found themselves in the winning seat as only a couple years back they were winners of the inaugural Nokia Music Connecting Beats Competition in 2004.
