The Fremantle Festival comes alive on Sunday November 26th with the addition of a dance music stage to the free entertainment going on throughout the day. Inspired by similar stages at the legendary Brunswick Street and St Kilda festivals in Melbourne, the dance stage is a joint production between DNA and Balcony Records. The initiative sees a number of different Perth promoters and artists getting together to ensure a cross genre feel. From Trafik International there will be Future Dogs (Rufkut and Frantik) and maybe a sneak international from the night before. Habitat will feature Flex, ONE A.M. will have Mortal Realistiks (Fine China and Mortal Flow), whilst T-Mac will be spinning the wheels of steel on behalf of Mills Records. In addition to this Balcony records will bring its DJ’s to the table with Hoppy, Wraith, Tymd conspiracy, Scollop, Private Eyez and of course DNA’s own Brad Raven.

It all takes place on Sunday November 26th from 10am to 6pm. Get down to the Esplanade Park between the Carriage Shop and Little Creatures – the stage will be facing Essex Street. See ITM What’s On for more information.
