The Melbourne Techno Collective Xmas party has become something of a tradition over the years and MTC are returning once more with a fresh take on everyone’s favourite techno themed celebration Xmas on Saturday 23rd December at the Espy (Public Bar).

This year’s festivities include performances from Melbourne Live act Jani Ho, Dave Pham, Ace Stojevski and MTC residents Sam McEwin, Matt Radovich, Craig McWhinney and Jay Reading.

This years MTC Xmas party also marks the start of a special three month residency by Melbourne Live act James Rudd.

Jani Ho was born in Turku, Finland in 1974 and raised in New York City during the influential period 1987-1992, Jani’s unique sound finds it roots in minimal techno, jazz and electronica. Over Jani’s career his distinctive sound has seen him perform live alongside artists as Juan Aktins, Derrick May, Cari Lekebush, Moloko, Miss Kittin, Gilles Peterson, Luomo, Grooverider, DJ Storm, Spiderbait, Mark Verbos, Leo Laker and of course long time friend Voiteck.
