In the tradition of Field Day and Summadayze, Adelaide’s own ‘Shores on a New Year’s Day’ is once again the first place to party in 2007. Held annually at the West Beach complex on Military Road, the event caters for thousands of New Year’s revellers annually, with a swag of local talent (live and DJs) and always a number of top-class internationals from the dance music sphere.

In this, the event’s 5th consecutive year, we see the UK’s
MYNC Project (who’ll be bringing their two-man, four decks & FX show) drop in with a broad specturm of house music to drive the dancefloor. Members Mark Brown & Nic Corelli bring five years’ experience as a duo to the event, and are known for their work independently with Credence and Variation records. Sitting among peers like James Holden, Yousef and Pete Tong, they live and breath house music and will be arriving armed and dangerous.

In addition to the 30+ DJ’s and bands, there will be a special guest d&b international (to be announced shortly) and nothing short of an oasis of four music stages (indoor and out). The multiple areas include and feature a 1500 person beer garden, table tennis, pool tables, fuzzball tables, cocktail bars, gourmet food, couch areas, beach access and movies on the big screen. This year sees bigger production, more entertainment and seven dedicated zones to explore.

Tickets available pre-sold for $35 through: VenueTix outlets, BSharp Records, Chapel Gesture, and The Shores Complex. Door price $45.

Venue opens 12 midday and goes til 2am… stay tuned to ITM for more details and announcements!
