Whether it’s a good thing or not will be entirely up to the individual, but socialite heiress and home-video star extraordinaire Paris Hilton is rumored to be performing this New Years Eve at Sydney’s very own Home nightclub, of all places.

She’ll already be flying in to attend what’s described as a “top-secret Richard Branson Sydney soiree” (or something) according to News Limited, which also makes the likely claim that she is ‘believed’ to be performing at the Pacha party at Home, one of the big-ticket events in Sydney this New Years Eve.

Again, it’s open to debate as to whether she’ll make a worthy addition to the already massive lineup alongside superstar DJs like Darren Emerson, Axwell, Tocadisco and Sarah Main. But if she has indeed been booked to perform one of her ‘hit’ singles at Pacha, then at least she won’t be hopping on the decks like she’s been known to in the past. Whoopee.
