Thinking you were gonna be denied the chance to catch the Beastie Boys’ DJ extraordinaire playing a solo performance? Well think again, as Mixmaster Mike will be hitting the forum on February 17th. But it’s even bigger than you think: he’ll be joined by Rahzel, ex member of The Roots world champion beatboxer, as well as another hip ho professional DJ JS-1 from New York.

The last time Sydney was treated to a solo performance from Mixmaster Mike was the massive Parklife festival last year. He’s known as one of the world’s greatest turntable technicians, winning the DMC Mixing Championships multiple times and winning stacks of fans worldwide for his work as the official DJ for the Beastie Boys.

Catch Mixmaster Mike, along with Rahzel and DJ JS-1, on Saturday 17th February at The Forum, opposite Centennial Park.
