Deep house fans will be offered a bunch of additional chances to catch the UK DJ/producer outside of his performance at Sydney’s Playground Weekender festival. Fans can catch him at Electric Circus in Adelaide, Monkey Tennis in Sydney as well as a series of hush-hush gigs that have yet to be finalized.

Da Sunlounge, aka Simon Newby, began DJing in and around the Midlands deep house scene 9 years ago, with a residency at the seminal night Travelling Without Moving where he played alongside DJs like Terry Francis, Inland Knights and Andy Wetherall. He’s been producing deep house for over 5 years with releases on a wide range of excellent international label, with his own Myna Music racking up more than 20 releases and earning him much respect among his DJ colleagues.
