Triky Entertainment and UP Records, two of the newest local sources of psytrance music, are teaming up for a series of parties to showcase fresh talent while still delivering sets from established artists. Melbourne punters will be able to get a taste of the New Generation experience when it visits Dream Nightclub on Saturday 17th March, but the main event will be a party in Rover Park, Northern NSW on Saturday 24th March featuring international guests Loud, U-Recken and headliner Broken Toy
Broken Toy is James Copeland, a rising psytrance producer/DJ from South Africa. He produces music with a diverse variety of moods for the dancefloor, weaving in influences that extend from electro to tribal to techno. He has been producing psytrance since 2001 and was one of the pioneers of the Cape Town scene, alongside countrymen like Shift, Artifakt and Protoculture. He promises a massive headline set at New Generation.
The venue is situated on the eastern fall of The Great Dividing Range between Casino and Tenterfield in Northern NSW. It’s situated two hours from Byron Bay, three hours from Brisbane, and two and a half hours from the Gold Coast, check out www.roverpark.com for more details.
