The Dutch DJ/producer has held onto his status as one of uplifting trance’s most revered identities throughout is career – making music for over 15 years and riding the Gatecrasher wave all the way to the top in the late 90s and managing to stay there. Sitting comfortably amongst top tier DJs like Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten has in recent times prided himself on a new trailblazing direction, fusing elements of electro, tech and breaks, with his renowned style of trance.
Blowing minds throughout March as part of the nationwide Future Music Festival, and slotted in for another massive show at Sydney’s Sublime this Friday night, this will be your chance to ask Ferry why trance continues to excite him so much.

Booka Shade are Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, responsible – along with M.A.N.D.Y. and DJ T – for the blossoming Get Physical record label. They’re without a doubt one of the hottest names in the electro/tech/minimal scene sweeping the globe. Pushing a unique style of club music that manages to be cutting edge yet still drenched with emotion, they’ve turned heads with their Memento and Movements albums, won over the clubbing massive with hits like Stupid Questions and Body Language and completed a solid catalogue of remix work. The pair have been making music together for over a decade, but this will be the first time Book Shade have brought their live performance to Australia. Here’s your chance to ask the boys whether the minimal sound is really all it is cracked up to be, and what we can expect from their renowned live show when it hits our shores over the Easter long weekend.
