Global DJing superstar Armin Van Buuren has revealed to ITM that he’ll be returning to Australia in June, playing extended ‘Armin Only’ style events over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. “I’m not traveling with a festival this time, I’m doing it on my own,” he remarked.
The Dutch trance legend, who is consistently ranked as one of the world’s top dance music identities in the DJ Mag Top 100 Poll, last toured Australia in March, 2006, headlining the Two Tribes tour and inaugural Future Music Festival in Sydney. His return will no doubt have his fans excited, and the added bonus of the extended set length will only make it all the sweeter.
In an interview that ITM’s National Editor Tim Hardaker recently had with Armin while in New York, he revealed that he’s excited to be returning down under in a few months time. Talking specifically about his impending show at the Vodafone Arena in Melbourne, Armin said he’ll be playing for a whopping 6 hours!
