There’s no denying Dr Rubberfunk is a bona fide maestro of beats. With record crates overflowing with hip hop, funk, soul, jazz and disco, following the acclaim for his debut album – ‘My Life At 33’ (released in October, 2006) – he’s back with a super fresh new single Taking Over. Rubberfunk, otherwise known as Simon Ward, has remixed a massive list of artists over his career, including Malente, Fort Knox Five and the Stereo MCs, and here the tables have been turned with Ashley Beedle of X-Press 2 and Black Science Orchestra fame, giving his own take on the single.
