Embracing the new options of DJ technology available, ITM personality Mo Funk has decided to sell a big chunk of his back catalogue to the Record Store in Darlinghurst. The Sydney DJ known as an avid user of Serato, an increasingly popular digital-to-decks alternative to using traditional vinyl, and he decided it was time to unload a majority of his 1,5000 strong collection rather than letting them gather dust.
The store has just set up a brand new second-hand section where a number other Sydney DJs have already sold their once-loved collections. It’s open now and will feature a large variety of all genres of music, so get digging!
Moe’s collection in particular includes many rare records including party breaks and hip hop, accapellas, instrumentals, deep, jackin’, funky, tech and tribal house, new school and funky breaks, downtempo and loads more. There are over 1,000 records after all!
The Record Store is located at 255b Crown Street in Darlinghurst, get on down there and check out what’s for sale.
