Believe it or not the Sweetchilli crew have been around for nearly eight years, and as a warmup for their massive birthday celebrations in June they’ll be holding a special event full to the brim with retrospective tunes. They’ll be looking back over some of the greatest moment moments in progressive, tech and house over the past eight years when they take over the Civic basement once again on Friday May 18th.

The evening’s music policy will work backwards from the current climate in house all the way back to the late 90’s when the Sweetchilli brand was first conceived, as well as a special anthems set featuring the greatest moments in electronic music from any era. The loyal punters will be given the chance to have a say too: if you visit the Sweetchilli WEBSITE you can pick your favourite selections. Once the votes are tallied, the top five tracks from each period will be played when the Sweetchilli DJs step up to the decks.
