Next weekend is the time for mega birthday bashes it seems, as the much loved Sydney Saturday night Kink marks its 4th anniversary of packing out The Arthouse with special guest sets from Alan Braxe and Kris Menace who are in Australia for the We Love Sounds festival tour.

Both are big names in house music DJing and production. Alan Braxe was part of Daft Punk’s infamous Roulé label early in his career and played a part in producing the unforgettable Music Sounds Better with You by Stardust in the late 90s. He’s since gone to enjoy success own independent label Vulture. Kris Menace himself released his smash singles Discopolis on that particular label, as well as a number of other hit tracks like Voyage, Jupiter and Fairlight.

It’s sure to be a huge bender for Kink and its loyal crowd, enough to rival its legendary 3rd Birthday last year which featured a guest performance from Danny Howells. The inthemix50 #1 DJ Ajax will be sharing headline duties with the special guests and he’ll be joined by a massive local lineup featuring the extended Kink family of DJs. Celebrations will run from 9.30pm to 7am, and going on last year’s efforts of keeping the club pumping until 6.30am onwards, the organisers are expecting it to be just as cranking in 2007.

Kink 4th Birthday rocks into the Arthouse on Saturday June 2nd, Second Release Tickets are now available on ITM.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
