He’s currently the world’s #1 DJ and one of dance culture’s most iconic figures. With a new album In Between on the horizon, in October Paul van Dyk will be back in Australia for a national tour.
Nothing if not revered across the globe, Paul van Dyk has been doing his thing since the early 90s in Berlin before releasing his debut album 45 RPM in 1994. But it was the release of his second album Seven Ways that shot him to stardom later in the decade, followed soon after by the timeless For an Angel, a track that defined a generation of clubbers as well as the sound that was sweeping the world at the time.
He’s stayed at the top of the heap since then, maintaining a reputation as a DJ who can smash the crowd at each and every club he plays. In 2005 he rose to the top spot in the DJ Mag poll for the very first time, holding onto the position in 2006.
Paul van Dyk will be playing Family in Brisbane on Thursday 11th October, stay tuned to ITM for more details as the come to hand…
