daft punk = no.. they'll have left the country by then. ACDC rumour is every year. Im leaning towards possibly a foo/QOTSA since they both have new albums out. RATM would be a hot tip too. Gotye hopefull on the local front. i missed out on his live shows. I think theres definately going to be a big emo band there. Fall out boy possibly?

Rage is highly possible, considering they were only going to do 1 performance which was Coachella but have done several since then and are locked in for Rock the Bells. Wu Tang are releasing their new LP 8 Diagrams (minus ODB RIP) in the US in October so maybe the Clan will head our way over the summer...

Underworld have a new album coming out in October. They are touring all around the world and dates are announced up to November (Japan). I really think we'll see them down here in time for the BDO. I will wee.

God damnnn i hate roumers! you get all excited and worked up, only to be let down when the line-up is actually released. I admit i havent been to impressed witht eh BDO lineup for a few years, so this year im expecting something BIG!!! Might as well add to the roumers however and say.....i got bets on At the Drive In, Paramore, Placebo, Cox, Pendulum and Halliwell in the boiler room along with Midro (i hope!!!) and yeah the big names i guess would have to be roumers of RAGE and Unkle. If Deftones played....my god! BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF BDO!!!! (ahh memories - remember back when the lineups included massive bands such as manson and hole) *sighs*

i boycotted bdo this year. 2008 better have some WOW factor, cause the bolier room (and hot house) have been lamed out side stages in the last few years. i've heard AIR may be coming over as well as RATM, but the big wow groups rumoured in the last few years have been nothing but rumours. all i'm saying is that i'm hoping for a huge year, being back at the show grounds they've gotta come thru with the goods...right???

In the Sunday paper had bjork tipped to headline which would suck. oi dexxy disaster, late reply i know but wolfmother have been to BDO, in 2006. Sound issues disrupted the performance though so it wasn't great. UNKLE would be dope. Evil Nine maybe... Smashing Pumpkins a huge possibility. Pendulum are about to release a new album. Regardless I have a feeling BDO 08' is going to be epic.

wolfmother played BDO 2005 as well on the green stage and were bloody awesome. it was before the album so it wasnt over produced as they are now, when they were the real wolfmother, howling and cape wearing. rage (obviously cause its offical now), bjork for sure (playing 23rd of jan at opera house), not long to wait till tuesday - big announcement

I have a few very strong "connections" *cough cough work in the ticketing industry* and i can pretty much confirm RATM will be appearing at BDO 2008. I don't want to get peoples hopes up in case it falls through - everyone knows that things change, but at the moment it's a 99.5% probability.
