Adding to the dismay caused by recent concert cancellations this year from the likes of Nine Inch Nails, The Klaxons and New Young Pony Club, the UK’s Jamie T also had to cancel his Australian tour after picking up a nomination for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize, so that he would be able to attend the ceremony. You gotta give it to him, that’s a good a reason as anything to postpone an Australian tour but luckily, we’ll be seeing him not long after.
Jamie himself says, “I hate postponing gigs but this was unavoidable unfortunately. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and I really hope to see you at one of the rescheduled dates.”
Previously purchased tickets will be valid for resheduled shows, check below for the new dates…
Sunday, September 30th: The Zoo, Brisbane
Tuesday, October 2nd: The Bakery, Perth
Wednesday, October 3rd: The Hi Fi Bar, Melbourne
Thursday, October 4th: The Gov, Adelaide
Friday, October 5th: Gaelic Theatre, Sydney
