One of the finest live dance acts the world has to offer are among the first acts announced for this year’s Falls Festival in Tasmania and Victoria. Celebrating its fifteenth year in Lorne and fifth year in Tasmania, the festival will be kicking off again over the New Year period with a line-up that also includes Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motrocycle Club, Jose Gonzales and Blackalicious.

Some of the other international acts that will be flying in for the festival include Idaho indie rockers Built to Spill, the 6-strong Brighton-brigade of the Go Team, mix-tape-mash-up extraordinaire Girl Talk as well as ska legend and his band Neville Staple and the Specials. Local acts announced for the bill so far included Paul Kelly, The Waifs, The Mess Hall, Kev Carmody and the Whiskey Go Go’s.

The two separate Falls Festival events take place between December 30and January 1st along the coastlines of Lorne in Victoria and Marion Bay in Tasmania, featuring around 50 performers, comedians, The Falls Arts Village, films, spectacular amphitheatres and two nights of free camping.

It’s always a hotly anticipated event so subscribe HERE for an easy, hassle-free way to get your tickets. Over 80 per cent of tickets will be allocated to subscribers; remaining tickets go on sale 9am September 10.
