Chemical Brothers here in March, for real! Presented by Future & ITM

The rumour mill has gone into overdrive over the past few weeks, with murmurs that the Chemical Brothers may be touring over the New Year’s Eve period or on the Big Day Out in January. However ITM can now bring you the official word that they’ll actually be heading back down under in March, for real, and the tour is proudly presented by Future and inthemix! Currently riding high on the success of their recent album ‘We Are The Night’, which has already spawned two massive hits with ‘Do It Again’ and new single ‘Salmon Dance’, the Chemical Brothers are one of the most enduringly successful duos in the dance scene.
They’ve had a massive European summer, playing headline slots at festivals around the globe, including the mammoth Glastonbury event in June as well as Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and Summercase in Spain. Their March tour of Australia coincides roughly with the dates of the Future Music Festival and is presented by Future Entertainment, so with only two shows announced so far one has to wonder; will the Chems be headlining the 2008 FMF tour? Only time will tell, so be sure to keep your eyes glued to inthemix!

Fri Mar 7 – Sydney, Entertainment Centre

OH F**K YES !!1! I have fond memories of watching them as a youth on channel V @ BDO and thinking, "omg this electronic shit is friggin sweet!" , massive influence. Now I finnally get to see them : D I dont care if theyre playng someones backyard, itll still rock like crazy I just hope they bring the cool visuals also

thats one good thing about the entertainment centre - huge space for massive visuals. The screens used for Massive Attack's show there a few years ago were amazing. Have no doubt Chemical Brothers will be at least as good!

ha anyone seen there glastonbury set on youtube? If you havent i suggest check it out and dim the lights and enjoy. It is incredible.. I will be there for sure even if i have to sell my ass.

Those people wondering why they haven't announced their other shows in other states, dont worry! As said in the article they are going to travel with Future Entertainment so of course they'll headline the Future Music Festival at the same time as these shows are playing

Can I just say - I hope they do another show - I wanted to get floor tickets so badly, and finalkly when i got to the webiste, they were all sold out. then I go onto ebay to find all these wankers who are selling 14 or 15 at a time for nearly double the original price. Bastards!! I thought there was a rule against this now, they should be ashamed of themselves!! I hope no one buys their tickets, dicks!!
