If you’re one of the many who likes to don their best frock or sharpest suit, then head to the races for a day of betting on the ponies, why not combine it all with your passionate love of music too? Mark Saturday October 6th in your diary today, because The Lawn Party at Randwick Racecourse for Epsom Stakes Day looks like it’ll be a big one!

Heading up the bill will be rockers Youth Group and Faker, who’ll be joined by dance acts TV Rock, Riot In Belgium, Dirty Laundry, The Heat and Purple Sneakers DJs. The party runs 11.30am-5.30pm and tickets are onsale now. It might seem a bit steep at $165+bf a pop, but when you consider it includes racecourse entry, trackside viewing, entertainment it’s not so bad. Oh, did we mention it’s inclusive of food and beverages as well? Score!
