Stonefest first round lineup announced!

Since its humble inception three decades ago Stonefest has without doubt provided a platform upon which many international, interstate and local artists have showcased their wares. As with every year, the organisers of Stonefest pay homage to the Canberra audience with a festival lineup acknowledging the quirkiness and diverse musical tastes of the region. In previous years they’ve mixed the old with new and thrown in some cutting edge and this year is no different.

Spread out over four stages and two days, the first release of artists are:

The Waifs
Aquasky (UK)
TV Rock
Karton
Butterfingers
Belles Will Ring
Expatriate
Chris Haskett (ex-Rollins Band guitarist)

Of course with four stages there’s plenty more to announce, so stay tuned to ITM for updates on the lineup.

Stonefest will take place on Friday October 26th and Saturday October 27th at the University Of Canberra.

Tickets go on sale Friday August 24th.
