Rumours are circulating that Bjork – undoubtedly one of the music scene’s most enduringly enigmatic and unique artists – will make her long awaited return to Australia in early 2008 for her first antipodean tour in over 10 years.

The Icelandic vocalist, whose most recent album ‘Volta’ included production by hip-hop icon Timbaland and was hailed as a return to form by many music critics and fans, is said to be heading down under in February of next year.

At present there’s an unconfirmed citation announcing the tour on Bjork’s Wikipedia page, although there’s no further details available on where and when she might be playing.

Could Bjork be heading here for the Good Vibrations Festival, which tours throughout February each year? Only time will tell if it’s a festival or solo tour, so be sure to stay tuned to ITM for updates!
