Rubicon is a new monthly night at Kings Cross hotspot Favela, built to spotlight the underground elements of the Sydney dance scene: a non-commercial music policy, unique artwork and visuals, and of course a crackin’ good party. And you can check out the next installment this Friday the 14th September.

Favela has been highlighted as the most exciting new place to party for good reasons: with 8000 lights on the ceiling, a revered Funktion 1 sound system and swanky but comfy surroundings. Headlining Rubicon this weekend will be Sydney group Hey Now! who have been picking up gigs all over Sydney, and they’ll be supported by tech- house legends Telefunken and Rubicon resident D-Cup. If you’re looking for a different shade of Sydney clubbing, Rubicon could be your best bet.
