The nominations for this ARIA awards have been announced and electro-pop act Sneaky Sound System have most definitely dominated on the dance side of things, picking up nominations for no less than six awards – more than any other act! They’re in the running for best group, best dance album, best independent release and album of the year. The band has been everywhere over the last 12 months so who knows – maybe they’ll pull of a clean sweep at the music industry’s biggest awards ceremony!

The other acts to be recognised in the ‘Best Dance Release’ category are Gotye, Poxymusic as well as the super trio of Hook’n’Sling, Kid Kenobi and TV Rock – several acts that also had massive showings in last week’s inthemix50, as well as ranking in the top 5 most popular producers nationally.
