That’s right, you read correctly! It appears ITM was on the money a few weeks ago when it reported HERE that Ministry of Sound would be starting their own big-scale events, as it has now been revealed the Australian division of the global dance brand will be getting large in both Perth and Sydney this December.
By the looks of things, they’ll both be markedly different events across both cities. Sydney will be enjoying old-school style ‘All Night Warehouse Party’, with Ministry of Sound looking back to the 1990s, setting up their ghettoblaster and laying down the lino mats across two large-scale arenas. It’ll be the first of what has been labeled the Annual Warehouse Rave events. Perth on the other hand will be getting an ‘All Day Outdoor Festival’ that will be hosting DJs and live acts across several stages.
They’ve yet to reveal where the parties will be held, but it WILL be happening in Sydney on Saturday December 1st and in Perth on Sunday December 2nd. And while the Ministry have also yet to confirm whether Booka Shade or Trentemoller will be appearing there as was earlier reported, they have promised that the festival will be playing host to “some seriously big name DJs and live acts.”
Damn, it’s hard being right! It’s a tough job bringing you all the latest news and developments in dance but sheesh, someone’s gotta do it… Be back at ITM on Monday for full event, venue and ticketing details!
