On the eve of his visit to Australia for a series of intimate shows around the country for inthemix, it’s been revealed that the world’s #1 DJ Paul van Dyk will in fact be back in Sydney at the end of the year – to headline the next massive Transmission party! While his first round of gigs in a fortnight will see him play small-capacity clubs, this will be a full-blown arena spectacular event – PVD style!

Taking place in the regular Transmission home of the Olympic Sports Centre, the organisers are promising the typical mind-blowing production we’ve come to expect from the legendary series of parties – in their own words, a “spectacle where no expense is spared on gigantic lighting rigs, lasers and video productions to create an experience of sheer euphoria and unadulterated fun!”

And not only that, but there will be another four massive internationals joining PVD on the bill. Dutch hard dance master Showtek will be playing live with MCDV8 on vocals; Yoji Biomehanika of Monochroma and Ding A Ling fame; DJ Walt of the renowned Let the Music Play and finally, Amsterdam’s DJ Duro.

How’s that for huge? And that’s not to mention the local support from local supports Nervous v Jumping Jack, Scott Richardson v Slim, Archie v Patrik Carrera and Nik Fish v Nitrouz. It’ll be the trance and hard dance event of the year, so make sure you have your credit card at the ready when tickets go on sale next on ITM next Tuesday 2nd October.
