If you’re still reeling from the avalanche of new summer festival announcements made in recent weeks, then take a deep breath and prepare yourself for another wave as Ministry Of Sound have revealed they’re planning a brand new NYD event for January 1st, 2008.
Coming just a week after they announced the line-up for their early December festivals in Sydney and Perth, the Ministry of Sound crew have revealed plans for a 4,000 capacity day/night event in Sydney this NYD.
The line-up and venue are still to be revealed, but MOS have stated that the event will run 2pm to 2am, and will take place at a venue that offers both indoor and outdoor entertainment areas.
The location and line-up is expected to be announced on Monday October 8th. Stay tuned to ITM for updates.

"very interesting - I hear they will have Eric Prydz" Thats absolute rubbish. Eric is afraid of flying and thats why he has never toured outside of Europe so i honestly dobut hes going to come down here. MoS should run a bloody all ages event so there could be a decent one in bloody australia!

"Thats absolute rubbish" - Eric Prydz may well be afraid of flying (I don't know him personally to ask) but he is doing a fairly decent tour of the US and Canada as we speak- it would take a long time to do the tour if he doesn't fly!

I hope it will be an outdoor event. Thats the biggest draw card for field day, otherwise its just like another nightclub evening and plus the girls in their bikini's look great!!
