Horse flu has been dominating the news headlines this year, and dance music fans haven’t been left out of the hysteria! Various electronic events that were due to be held at race tracks around the country are slowly being relocated, and the latest is Cairns’ newest and most exciting event the Generationext Festival which was originally billed as being held at the Canon Park Raceway.
Never fear though! The promoters have secured a suitable replacement venue, the gorgeous Barlow Park which is located on Scott St in Cairns. The promoters assure us that the line up is still fully intact, including of course its massive headliner Paul van Dyk despite his recent ear infection (I can hear a collective sigh of relief from dance fans around the country). With PVD still on board, the festival will keep to its original running time of 12pm-10pm.
