Get Closer to Green Velvet on NYE

Closer continues their tradition of high quality intimate gigs with a 4 hr set from Green Velvet/Cajmere on New Years Eve

Two years ago they helped you bring in the new year with Derrick Carter and throughout 2007 have brought you some of the best acts in the world playing long sets in intimate setting.

This New Years Eve they are bringing one of the biggest personalities in dance music, Green Velvet/Cajmere, to Perth for a special extended set. His sound is instantly recognisable to anyone in a club having been responsible for monsters like “Preacher Man”, “Flash”, “Answering Machine” and “The Stalker”, “La La Land” and “Shake and Pop” and Cajmere tunes like “Brighter Days”.

Closer presents I LOVE GV NYE 2007/2008 featuring Green Velvet/Cajmere is set to take place at Heat Nightclub, capacity is strictly limited and will sell out. Local support comes from the best of Perth’s house and tech DJ’s.

The first 250 tickets are available now for $55+ BF, and will soon be on sale via ITM.

Closer are also putting on a surprise treat for Perth with Closer presents MICRO featuring Jimmy van M (4 Hour Set) Friday October 26 – 10pm til late at Bar Open. Tickets $22+ BF, with support from Sean Chee, Slade, and Terry Waites. Capacity is once again, strictly limited!
