Recently voted as Australia’s #4 DJ on the inthemix50 poll, Tydi, Queensland’s young gun of trance, is showing no signs of slowing down his assault on the local dance scene. He’s now also got the international stage fixed firmly in his sights, recently signing his music to Armin Van Buuren’s Armada record label.

For this week’s featured download Tydi has passed on an exclusive track, which is unreleased and available only from inthemix. If you were expecting pounding peaktime trance then think again, because Tydi is showing an exciting new side to his musical personality with ‘I Like, You Like’!

Proving that he is definitely one of Australia’s finest producers, Tydi’s taking you on a blissed out journey through chill and down-tempo. Like all his music, it retains his intricate approach to melody, making it a truly irresistible listen, something similar in sound to Hybrid on their more introspective moments.

“It’s a track that’s not made for a club or loud environment, it’s much more personal,” Tydi explained to ITM. “It’s more like a song from a movie scene, something you can listen to in your car and totally get lost in!”
