Often mentioned in the same breath as fellow European electro fiends Justice and Digitalism, Alex Ridha (aka Boys Noize) destroyed clubs on his first ever Australian tour early in 2007. After the rapturous response, he’s now planning on returning to do it all again this November and December.
His tracks and remixes have been caned by everyone from Soulwax, to Erol Alkan and The Rapture, and some of the coolest labels in the scene have been knocking down his door to release music, including Kitsune, Ed Banger, Skint, International DeeJay Gigolo and Turbo. Daft Punk even sent him a secret love message via MySpace, and he’s remixed Depeche Mode, Bloc Party, the Kaiser Chiefs and Marilyn Manson. Not bad for a 24 year old!
