Lovers of deep and soulful house will rejoice at the news that Soul Heaven will be making a welcome return to our shores late this month and into December. Joining long-time Australian-based Soul Heaven resident Sean Doyle will be one half of UK-based production duo Soul Central and Soul Heaven London resident Andy Ward, who will take the sounds of the acclaimed house imprint to clubs in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast.

A favourite with Australian audiences, Andy is enjoying another huge year in 2007. In addition to packing clubs worldwide – both solo and with production partner Timmy Vegas as Soul Central – Andy has released several cuts on labels including Double Shock, Soundmen On Wax, MAP Dance, CR2 and Defected. His latest remix on Applefunk, Sweetest Feeling completed with Deep Josh, is currently shaking clubs worldwide and is a good indication of what sound to expect from the big man during his Soul Heaven tour.

As Andy explains, he’s looking forward to returning and now considers Australia a second home, as messages on his Myspace will attest. “Before visiting Australia I never really understood what the hype was,” he wrote. “Now, after four tours in as many years, I can truthfully say that Australia is my favourite country in the world to DJ. I have been welcomed with open arms wherever I have played and have gained new friends and family up and down the East Coast. This time with Soul Heaven I am looking forward to spreading the soulful sound even further and giving people another night to remember; meet you all by the speakers!”
