CHANGE CITY :
Anticipation for next year’s edition of the massively popular Future Music Festival is reaching fever pitch, and with the days counting down to the announcement at the end of November there’s been more names leaked for the touring lineup. Through various sources it’s been revealed that hard dance star Eddie Halliwell, progressive trance favourite Markus Schulz and house legend Roger Sanchez are all set to head to Australia for the festival in March, 2008!
These big names join the previously announced hot-tip of Sasha & Digweed (news HERE) and legendary live act the Chemical Brothers (news HERE) who will be in town right about the time of the tour. Future Entertainment boss Mark James spilled the beans on the ITM Forums regarding Eddie Halliwell (read HERE) and Marcus Schulz (read HERE), while Sanchez himself revealed that he’ll be journeying back to Australia through his MySpace page.
Tour dates for the festival have also appeared online, so mark these in your calendar today – you won’t want to miss it!
Sat Mar 1 – Brisbane

Sat Mar 8 – Sydney
Sun Mar 9 – Melbourne

FMF has the right concept bar the sound systems...... major let down this year especially in brisbane. Eddie would be great-ensure he gets a djm909 hooked up in series with a djm700 and lots of cdj1000's. Oh and do a live video record of him thats projected onto a huge screen. He is without doubt got the right essence 4 Dj'ing in public. so much energy whilst feeding off the crowd and serving it right back at them with amazin skill!!

all future music festival needs to now do is pay some respect to the australian producer who 1st put australian techno on the map ... dj hmc... (his releases get a lot more international recognition than those of mark james)

No matter how good the line up, Brisbane FMF better not be at the racecourse again. with the sound levels the way they were last time you could have a normal conversation within 30m of the stages. I understand why this was, but don't know why they don't go for a venue change where local residents weren't as much of an issue.
