If you’re one of the lucky ducks who scored a ticket to Harbourlife this weekend, here’s all the vital info you need. If you didn’t get a ticket and were planning on turning up anyway… you should also read the following! Everything you need to know about playing times, maritime exclusion zones, fence jumping, sniffer dogs and more.
First up, lets get the fun stuff out of the way first, the set times:

03:00-04:00 Ajax
04:00-05:30 The Glimmers
05:30-07:00 Switch

08:30-10:00 Tim Deluxe
Treetop Stage

08:30-10:00 Tim Sea
Now onto the serious stuff. Following the tragedy after Harbourlife last year, when a reveler who was attempting to enjoy the event from a boat fell and drowned, a strict exclusive zone will be enforced at this year’s party. Fuzzy have advised that the Maritime Authority and Water Police will set up a 100m exclusion zone from the seawall at Fleet Steps on Farm Cove. Water Police will be enforcing the zone and issuing fines to any vessel that knowingly enters the zone. This fine will be $1,500 for both the master and owner of the vessel. Ouch!
With the party having sold out in record time this year, it doesn’t take a genius to work out there were quite a few punters who missed out on a ticket. If you were planning on heading down in an attempt to jump the fence, be advised that security and police will be patrolling the fence lines for the duration of the event, with police and rangers able to issue fines of up to $500.
As is a regular occurrence at festivals around Australia, Harbourlife has in the past been targeted by sniffer dog operations. Fuzzy have advised that they, clearly, do not condone illegal drug use, and anyone who is found to be carrying illegal substances will be handed over to the police. Possession of even a small quantity of illegal drugs can lead to a criminal conviction and a criminal record for life.

i think you will find that on the map the blue shaded area up the north end of the venue is where the stage will be like they have had for the past 2 years. although i did like it when the stage had the harbour bridge in the back ground but this way there is a lot more room to get you groove on.
