The long awaited second round of acts for the 2008 Big Day Out is here, with ITM on the money with the previously announced rumours of UNKLE and Carl Cox. Not to be outdone they’ll be joined by the biggest man in breaks, Krafty Kuts, as well as Pnau, Bexta, Goodwill, Dr Octagon with Kutmaster Kurt, and Aceyalone.
Of course it’s not all about dance and hip hop, with the second round also featuring a raft of huge names for lovers of rock music. Heading things up, the one and only Silverchair, as well as Augie March, Spoon, Brand New, Anti-Flag, Enter Shikari and Operator Please are amongst the new acts added to the bill.
The Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast legs of the tour sold out within days of going on sale, and reports indicate that Adelaide is now precariously close to selling out too, so if you haven’t yet snapped up a ticket for the last remaining shows you’re advised to get onto it quick smart!
