In a rare occurance, Queensland’s house music fans are well and truly spoilt for choice this coming weekend, with a swag of international heavyweights set to hit both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

It all starts this Thursday when Danish house and tech innovator Trentemoller, who takes to the stage at Family with his full live band, joined by the ever capable Booka Shade. Over at Monastery meanwhile, Dave Taylor, otherwise known as groundbreaking producer Switch, will be showcasing his banging brand of adventurous house.

On Friday, Family will host the one and only Armand Van Helden, who will have crowds getting down to the finest in New York house, while on the Gold Coast, Dutch uber-producer Fedde Le Grand will zoom in for what is sure to be a rammed club performance.

Then on Saturday night, Family will open its doors to UK house mainstay Tim Deluxe, while to end the weekend the Sundae crew will welcome New York-based Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Jay-J, playing Watt at the Brisbane Powerhouse.

With Brisbane’s local talent in support, this weekend is shaping up to be a big one; get into it!
