Currently in the midst of an exhausting North American tour, Dirty South has revealed to ITM he’ll be heading back to Australia in January after more than 6 months away on globe-trotting adventures. 2007 has been a massive year for the Melbourne-based house music superstar, having ranked #2 on the inthemix50 (and #1 in the Most Popular Producer category). He also managed to squeeze into the DJ Mag Top 100 at #98, the first Australian to make the list since Anthony Pappa in 2003!
Speaking with ITM ahead of his return home for an exclusive podcast that will be available soon (stay tuned!), Dirty South revealed he’ll be undertaking a national tour in January and February, which is sure to excite his many fans around the country. “I’ll be back next year to do an Australian tour… I’ll come home and do all the major cities,” he remarked about his impending return. “I haven’t played in Oz for, like, 7 or 8 months now, so I’m looking forward to it!”
Keep your eyes glued to ITM for updates on Dirty South’s long awaited return.
