Nouvelle Vague riding the new wave back to Australia

Renowned for their bossa nova take on new wave 80s classics, French outfit Nouvelle Vague will be heading back to Australia in early 2008 for a run of shows with Moonshine Sessions; aka DJ $olal of Gotan Project and pedal steel guitarist Filip Wauters.

Having appeared at the V Festival earlier this year, Nouvelle Vague’s return is hotly anticipated, as their legendary covers of classics like Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ and Echo And The Bunnymen’s ‘The Killing Moon’ have resulted in a cult following.

Thu Feb 28 – Beck’s Music Box, Perth
Sat Mar 1 – The Metro, Sydney
Sun Mar 2 – Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
