Just when you thought there wasn’t enough craziness around NYE, another huge party to bring in 2008 has been announced by Future Entertainment.

Melbourne’s newest NYE event is Innercity. Presented by Overdrive, the top rating dance music radio show hosted by Grant Smillie and John Course on Nova, they’ve joined forces with Future Entertainment to present Innercity at the home of super club Famous, Queensbridge.

The Overdrive live main room features John Course and Grant Smillie in a 5 hour marathon set, with Goodwill and Jake O’Leary joining them. In the Bimbo Rock parlour and basement, there’ll be the new guns of Melbourne’s DJ scene, including Adam Bartas, Sean Rault, Base Cartel, Jarrod Moran and Xavier Bacash.

Plus there will be performance artists and special NYE surprises! Queensbridge is also meters from the waterfront fireworks display so it’s close to the action. Tickets are on sale for $35+bf through through ITM.
