Following last week’s unfortunate cancellation of Bonde Do Role for their forthcoming Australian tour, which was to see them feature at Field Day on January 1st, local additions to the lineup have now been announced, along with an extra special international guest added to the bill. Far and away Sydney’s most popular NYD event, tickets for Field Day’s upcoming party once again sold out in record time, so it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest parties of 2008.
Set to join the all-star international lineup of Spank Rock, Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso, Felix Da Housecat, Chromeo and too many more to list, will be German minimal maestro John Tejada, who’ll be playing a live set at Field Day fresh from headlining Mad Racket on NYE. The local lineup features some of Sydney’s finest live electronic acts, including the Stick Figures, Jamie Lloyd & Jimi Polar and Deepchild all of the Future Classic label, as well as Rephrase, Toydeath and Meem, and then DJs Mark Murphy, Funktrust and Ro Sham Bo.
Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
