New kids on the block Circus Entertainment have come up with a music festival that is far ahead of its time and looks towards the future of our planet at the same time.

In April of next year they will present Climate, a fully sustainable music event, along the east coast. Their aim is to complement music with messages designed to promote awareness of climate change and its impact on the global environment.

The event will be entirely carbon neutral and will utilise artists who also hold positive ideals in regards to the environment. The event also aims to involve various environmental groups.

Climate will feature a huge line-up of electro and house DJs and artists, including those from the Vicious record label, and in Melbourne will be held at the central waterfront location of Birrarung Marr. More info and a full lineup is expected to be announced in early 2008.

Climate will be your chance to do your bit for the environment and the future of the planet, but also to have a damn good party as well!

Climate tour dates:

Apr 5 – Melbourne
Apr 6 – Sydney
Apr 12 – Brisbane

Stay tuned to ITM for updates.
