After 8 long years, Stable and Pretty Simple proudly welcome back to Melbourne one of the most skillful and naturally gifted techno DJs ever: the formidable Mr Claude Young. This Detroit native now resides in both Glasgow and Tokyo, and is not only a world class DJ but is also an electronic composer, web and video graphic designer, sci-fi junkie, computer expert amongst other things.

One of Detroit’s leading DJs and producers as the ‘90s closed, Claude Young filtered the more lush elements of Motor City melodist with the harder, minimalist stream of Robert Hood and Jeff Mills to create productions which lacked for neither emotion nor hard-hitting trance. Claude was co-founder of three of Detroit electronic music’s most respected record imprints: Frictional Rec, Dow (with Anthony “Shake” Shakir) and 7Th City Rec (with Dan “DBX” Bell), recording under the moniker of Brother From Another Planet. He has come out of semi-retirement for this tour so more the reason to come see Young’s outstanding and unique mixing style at The Last Techno Party Ever.

And they’ll be a fine range of support DJs onboard as well including Dee Dee & Slieker, Dave Pham & Matt Radovich, Christian Vance LIVE, Dean Millson, Mike Callander, Craig McWhinney, Imminence, and Tim Boyd & Ranjit Nijjer. So if you’re a big techno fan, you better not miss this one…

Celebrate the return of the mighty techno juggernaut that is Claude Young when he hits Ffour Nightclub on the January 12th.
