It wouldn’t take a genius to have predicted that many of December’s most read news items on inthemix related to the year’s most anticipated tour; NeverEverLand with Daft Punk. Of the top 10 most read stories half concerned our favourite French robots! Whether it was checking out the first pics and review of their debut Australian show in Melbourne or planning your day with the set times and venue maps, December was well and truly their month. Viva la France!
ITMers didn’t have a one-track mind though, as stories on several other forthcoming festivals and events also occupied the top 10. Field Day set times and info on their new stage proved a hot topic, as did the announcement of final round acts for Good Vibrations. The Future Music Festival was also essential reading, with the addition of Chicks On Speed and Datarock a top priority as well as the first round announcement which remained in the 10 from November! Rounding things out was the ITM scoop that trance superstar Armin Van Buuren had plans to return to Australia in 2008 to debut his Armin Only tour concept down under for the very first time.
