CHANGE CITY :
The name Tim Sabre may ring a bell following his sublimely ridiculous attempt to ban the Melbourne shuffle in October last year (check the story HERE). Obviously subscribing to the adage that ‘any publicity is good publicity’, Sabre has once again popped up in the news, with Ninemsn reporting on his offer of a job to 16-year-old Victorian party boy/riot instigator Corey Delaney.
Delaney has dominated headlines this week after holding a party at his parent’s house in the Melbourne suburb of Narre Warren South. 500 teenagers converged on the property, and when police arrived they were pelted with rocks and bottles. The crowd eventually dispersed when a police helicopter arrived. Delaney’s parents were holidaying on the Gold Coast at the time.
Sabre, who heads up Sydney events company Raw Entertainment, told Ninemsn of their intentions to offer him a position promoting an underage event. “We’re prepared to put him in as a party promoter – we’d organise an underage party and have him as the host,” he remarked.
“A promoter who can organise a party for 500 people can make anywhere from $2000 to $10000,” Sabre argued. With police currently weighing up whether to foot Corey and his parents with the $20,000 bill for their involvement in last weekend’s melee, if his first event was a success at least he’d be half way towards paying the bill.

Tim Sabre isn't even a 3rd rate promoter and could quite possibly be just about the biggest joke in the Sydney Dance scene. The guy's just hungry for publicity , I mean the only idea better than banning a style of dance in a club is getting some 16 year old idiot to promote clubs he's not even allowed into. Tim's Just trying to jump on someone else's publicity and has proved himself to be just as big an idiot as this kid.

This kid is a disgrace and an embarrassment to his family! Imagine how his family would feel listening to his idiotic comments on the news, in the papers etc. I support zealbees comment, a gun would be the only thing I'd offer him.. Or a jail sentence. A couple of friends of mine went to his "managers, pr staff and graphic designers wanted" meetings back before Soho had kicked him out of their venue, and who would have guessed it, it was just for lame street team stuff - even after they did the work for him, HE NEVER PAID THEM. Tim, you make so many promises that you dont keep, I can't quite work out how you are still alive.

Man i cant believe some of you on here r saying how cool he was stickin it to ACA. i think the little bastard needs a can of whoop ass so he can treat people with respect and i think those of u who did say how good he was on ACA need some too. man society has just lowered their morals even more after seein that. i just think he should have showed a little respect to the interviewer mind me saying. i think he needs to be taught a lesson and a fine of $20g's would help, maybe even a bit of juvvy while your at it. what a wank!

Alright, first of all. Surely you can't actually be expected to pay a fine for acts that others committed. Also 500 people turning up to a 16yo house party doesn't need much promotion. 16 year old kids wander the streets looking for house parties in the burbs. I remember when i was that age, you had to pretty much keep house parties a secret if you didn't want loads of uninvited rocking up. So if you invite everyone, of course they will turn up.
