UPDATE – ALL POSITIONS HAVE NOW BEEN FILLED!

If you are looking for a way to get to the sold out Adelaide leg of the Big Day Out this year, there may just be a way if you’re willing to volunteer!

Big Day Out organisers are looking for Crowd Care Volunteers for the event. These individuals fulfill an important role at the event, being the link between patrons and the Big Day Out organisation. They keep a watchful, yet unobtrusive, eye on the crowd, offer general information to patrons, as well as access and report to supervisors when further safety, security or maintenance assistance may be required.

Volunteers complete one of two shifts on the day, each approximately 7 hours in length. They work in groups of five with one Team Leader. Applicants should be aware that during this time they will be in a designated work in specific areas and cannot visit other areas. Each volunteer will receive free entry and a Big Day Out gift upon completion of their shift. Volunteers are also required to attend a COMPULSORY meeting on Tuesday 29th January in the evening.
