Straight off the back of hugely successful sets at the Woodford Folk Festival and Kiss My Grass, The Red Eyes’ next project is a residency tour of the east coast, with Melbourne institution Revolver Upstairs and Sydney’s premier seaside venue the Beach Rd Hotel in Bondi hosting them throughout February. In addition, they’ll also be playing selected dates in Byron Bay and throughout Queensland.

Considered by fans and music critics alike as one of the few authentic dub/reggae groups to come out of Australia, The Red Eyes are an 11-piece monster of a band who’ve been shaking foundations around the country with their heavyweight bass and mind-altering dub sound. Totally live, their performances include bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, turntables, percussion, trumpet, sax, trombone and live dubs, plus they are led by fiery singer El Witeri who draws on his Maori heritage for inspiration.
